Barry Bogage, Executive Director, Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC)

Barry Bogage is an international business development professional with 20 years' experience developing and executing strategies to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities. He has served as the executive director of the MIDC since 1992. His responsibilities include targeted trade development to assist Maryland and Israeli companies expand through international trade and technology joint ventures.

 
Christopher T. Cushing, President, The Commonwealth Group

Christopher T. Cushing has been a strategist in presidential campaigns in the United States and political campaigns abroad and now serves as a strategic marketing consultant to the top management of Fortune 500 corporations.

Chris has particular skill and experience in managing corporate transactions that involve complicated issues of public policy and investment. (The Commonwealth Group is WolfBlock's strategic advisors on homeland security matters.)

 
D. Todd Dollinger, Founding Partner and Managing Director, The Trendlines Group
D. Todd Dollinger manages The Trendlines Group's activities and is responsible for long-term strategic planning. Todd launched Trendlines, Inc., a Kansas City-based company providing sales, marketing, consulting, and product development services for the American market, in 1978.

Todd consults to management and the boards of directors of numerous companies and assists companies with strategic planning, commercial negotiations and partnering.

 
Gideon Federmann, Associate, Eurofund
Gideon Federmann brings a background in IT and communication to his work in consulting to clients in relation to corporate strategy. He joined Eurofund in 2002.

 
Joel Fisch, Strategic Investment Manager, Intel Capital
Joel Fisch joined the Israel team of Intel Capital in 1999 as a strategic investment manager. He has led the team's investment efforts in the digital home arena and is active on the boards of several technology start-ups. Prior to joining Intel, Joel was a transactional attorney representing technology clients at the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster, LLP.

 
Azriel (Azi) Hemar, Deputy Chief Scientist and Director, International Relations and Cooperation Division
In his position at the Office of the Chief Scientist, Azi Hemar is responsible for executing national policies to augment the competitiveness of Israeli industries through creation and management of bilateral programs to promote and facilitate international cooperation in industrial R&D.

His activities include promoting Israel as a attractive and mutually beneficial target country for investment, particularly in high-tech industries, as well as raising the awareness of the international VC industry, potential strategic partners and enterprises outside Israel to the vast technological potential Israel possesses.

 
Shlomo Kalish, Founding Partner, Jerusalem Global Ventures
Dr. Shlomo Kalish founded Jerusalem Global Ventures (JGV) in 1999, after founding The Jerusalem Global Group, a technology-focused investment house, in 1994. JGV invests in seed- and early-stage companies. Shlomo served as a general partner of Concord (K.T.) Ventures I, LP, an Israeli venture capital fund. Considered one of Israel's leading technology investors, Shlomo frequently appears in the media. He is active member of the boards of a number of non-profit organizations and institutions.

 
Steve Rhodes, Founding Partner and Chairman, The Trendlines Group

Steve Rhodes is chairman of The Trendlines Group and serves as the CEO of the Misgav Technology Center.

Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi le-Israel in 1979. He advanced through a number of financial marketing positions including director of marketing, and continued with Leumi when he and his family moved to Israel in 1985. At Bank Leumi in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's International Division. Steve is a member of the board of directors the Galilee Educational Foundation.

 
Francois Shazar, Project Manager, Israel Aircraft Industries
Francois Shazar has a broad range of experience in business development, marketing, and technology R&D. He has been involved in establishing a number of low- and high- tech start-ups. He served as VP business development for CommunicaTV Ltd. and as a leader of the business innovation team of Israel Aircraft Industry’s (IAI) Lahav Division. He is currently the CEO of the IAI company developing an advanced perimeter security system.

Francois served as a transport pilot in the Israeli Air Force.

 
Stuart Shorenstein, President, Wolf Block Government Relations D.C., LLC
Stuart Shorenstein heads a team at WolfBlock that provides across the board services on legislative and administrative matters for a national client base. He is also a member of WolfBlock's Corporate Department and chair of its Communications Practice Group.

He has led the representation of clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, financing, and venture capital transactions aggregating hundreds of millions of dollars.

Stuart has lectured at numerous national conventions and is the author of many articles on the communications industry and venture capital transactions. He is a member of the bars of the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
