Improving the rehabilitation process
Andante is the developer of Smart Step, an affordable, miniature, mobile monitoring and biofeedback system for lower limb rehabilitation. Smart Step is designed for use by patients undergoing rehabilitation following injuries to the lower extremities, joint replacement, and soft tissue injuries; lower limb amputation; and neurological deficits such as cerebral palsy and hemiparesis. The system provides an instantaneous and accurate assessment of the patient's weight-bearing performance and supports biofeedback gait training. It enables therapists to determine therapy goals, quantify patient performance, and evaluate the benefits of the treatment.

Airway management in acute respiratory failure
ETView Ltd. has developed an innovative approach to airway management in acute respiratory failure, emergency medicine, and anesthesia. The company's proprietary endotracheal tube (ETT) with a built-in camera enables a clear view of the upper airway during intubation via a portable monitor to permit safe and easy intubation. The ETView ETT offers continuous monitoring of the ETT position inside the trachea during the entire process and subsequent transport and treatment for more, effective ventilation during the intubation process, thereby decreasing the risk to the patient. The device eliminates the need for laryngoscopes or bronchoscopes.
