Criteria
The MarketReach America programs are designed to accelerate the successful market entry of innovative and exciting products and technologies into the American marketplace. The structured, intensive, yet highly personalized program, prepares non-U.S. companies for their launch into America.

This program not only helps non-U.S. companies, it does so with tangible benefits to the United States. The technologies that are being introduced to the U.S. market have the potential to (1) offer significant improvements in health, safety, and productivity for American society and (2) spur innovation and increased collaboration between the two countries. The potential outcome for MarketReach America is clearly a win-win situation for both societies and their high-tech sectors.

Acceptance into the heavily subsidized MarketReach America program is on a competitive basis. MarketReach America seeks companies that are close to market as measured by—

Products that are either ready to sell, are in advanced development, or that are "strategic-partnering" ready

Management qualified to engage in international business development

Adequate financial strength to fund the business development effort

Priority is given to applicants with the greatest potential for success.

Stage 1 — In America I: Strategy and Plan
Prepare for and participate in an intensive five-day in-residence strategy and planning conference in Maryland covering key U.S. market entry issues facing non-U.S. companies of all sizes. Each day includes insightful, topical presentations by top marketing professionals and industry leaders.

Individual consulting sessions with advisors chosen specifically to address the unique market issues of each participant are a critical aspect of the program. Market leaders include industry authorities, venture capitalists, and more. Preparatory meetings and workshops are held with professional marketing consultants in Israel before the conference.

The third MarketReach America program — Homeland Security 2005 — accepted applications through December 12, 2004.

Stage 2 — In Israel: Launch Preparation
Building on the plan developed in Stage I, we will work in Israel to prepare your market launch. Customized for each company, this Stage includes conducting market research, preparing marketing materials, identifying potential partner companies, making the contacts and scheduling meetings, and more.

Stage 3 — In America II: The Road Show

A road show will be organized by MarketReach America consultants that will open doors and improve your best business prospects to achieve your American market entry goals. These may include meetings and presentations with strategic partners, investors, and customers. A MarketReach America business development professional will accompany you throughout the road show.
